Workout on an Ron Carter tune from the 1980 record Petrao. A nice brasilian type bossa, when I sat down to figure out the changes they were like Bird's 'Confirmation' with a modulating bridge. RC writes some good stuff. Chet Baker, Kenny Barron, Amaury Tristao Jack DeJohnnette( my favorite) Nana Vasconcelos, Edson Machado were all on this recording. Notice the 'Giant Steps' changes I threw in !
