Michael Vincent Murray, 41, died on May 9, 2018, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was born to Sharon L. Murray and the late Edward J. Murray in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.
From child prodigy, playing the accordion given to him by his grandfather at the age of 4, to a brilliant adult musician with the rare gift of perfect pitch, Michael dedicated his life to sharing his talents with the world as a jazz pianist. He contributed on an album for the first time when he was just a child and released several other albums with bands he was in.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon (Mike) Dufala of Easley, SC; sister, Dolores (Frank) Hemrich, and brother Jeffrey Murray both of Concord, Ohio; nephew, Eddie Hemrich; and his teacup Pomeranian, Juju and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Michael was preceded in death by his father, and his grandparents Nick and Dolores Tucci.
A celebration of Michael's life will be 4-8 pm Tuesday May 15, 2018 at Brunner Sanden Deitrick Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, OH 44060.
