Jazz guitarist Andy Bianco was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He started studying jazz guitar with Joe Negri at age 17 and attended the University of Pittsburgh Jazz Studies, studying and performing with Nathan Davis and Mike Taylor as well as the Pitt Jazz Ensemble. Bianco went on to attend Berklee College of Music in Boston where he graduated with a degree in Performance. He has studied privately and/or in group settings with Joe Lovano, Hal Crook, Tiger Okoshi, Wayne Krantz, Mick Goodrick, Rick Peckham, Nathan Davis, Joe Negri, Eric Susoeff, Tony Janflone Sr., Jimmy Ponder and Thomas Blobner. He has performed and/or recorded with Bob Moses, David Tronzo, Roger Humphries, Dwayne Dolphin, Spider Rondinelli, Kenny Blake, Don Aliquo Sr. & Jr., Lou Schreiber, Jay Willis, George Jones, Robbie Klein, Mike Taylor, Paul Thompson, Mike Murray, Jacob Yoffee, Greg Humphries, M.A.J.I., Tony & Don DePaolis, Andrew Kirk, Nathan, Alex and Skip Peck, James Johnson III and has been a clinician at the Berklee College of Music Summer Guitar Sessions.
