Born and raised in Pittsburgh. Graduated from Peabody High School and attended University of Pittsburgh and Point Park College.
Favorite Pittsburgh musicians/performers
There are so, so many past and present. It would be unfair to name just a couple.
Favorite Jazz Radio or media station
Come on now...are ya'll serious? I'm a radio guy. Whose show do you think I like? :)
Favorite Pittsburgh Jazz Venue
That's an interesting phrase, "favorite". I really don't have a favorite place right now. The Pittsburgh music scene in general has it's issues. Politics and race make it a downer but we keep working harder to change things.
Walt Harper and Buzzy Robinson are my heroes.
