I imagine the interview was conducted around the time Mr. Bolden was interviewed for the Wylie Avenue Days documentary as some of the information here shows up in his segment on the WQED program. For those interested: Hillman Library at Pitt has copies (on microfilm) of the Pittsburgh Courier going back to the early 1900s.
