AFRO-AMERICAN MUSIC INSTITUTE CELEBRATES 36 YEARS
Pain Relief Beyond Belief
Jewell Fears and associates will be hosting a fundraiser for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the leader of the global breast cancer movement. The afternoon will include a silent auction of items donated by Moz Paintings & Prints, Kuntu Repertory Theater, Quantum Theater and various other generous donors.
Including complimentary hors d'oeuvres and cocktails, guests will also enjoy musical selections provided by DJ Nate the Phat Barber of Charismatic Marketing. At the conclusion of the evening, a check will be presented to the foundation in the name of Donna J. Youngblood-Fears, the event coordinator's late mother, in addition to the numerous family members lost to the disease in the Pittsburgh area. This event is looking to become an annual fundraising vehicle to support the development and research of finding a cure for the tragic disease.
Along with a suggested minimum donation of $15 guests are encouraged to wear a pink item of clothing to show their support.
