For almost 100 years the Pittsburgh region has been a metacenter of jazz originality that is second to no other in the history of jazz.  One of the best kept secrets in jazz folklore, the Pittsburgh Jazz Legacy has heretofore remained mythical.  We have dubbed it “the greatest story never told” since it has not been represented in writing before now in such a way as to be accessible to anyone seeking to know more about it.  When it was happening, little did we know how priceless the memories would become when the times were gone.

 

Today jazz is still king in Pittsburgh, with events, performances and activities happening all the time. The Pittsburgh Jazz Network is dedicated to celebrating and showcasing the places, artists and fans that carry on the legacy of Pittsburgh's jazz heritage.

The reengineering is the Continuous Improvement Process. The Role of Human Resource Management (HRM) in the success of the BPR The Human Resources Management (HRM) has evolved since days when the function was called personal administration. It is no longer to administer but managerial human capital. As a business system and process, BPR reforms and transforms business operations to achieve improved performance in the banking sector. According to Amanquah and Adjei (2013), BPR implementation helped the National Commercial Bank of Jamaica to achieve a return on investment (ROI) of more than 500%. Similarly, Amanquah and Adjei (2013) added Business Process Reengineering is one of the most popular change management approaches that can bring incredible solutions to corporations. BPR has arisen as a solution for companies to improve their performances; elevate their efficiencies and gain a competitive advantage in this everlastingly developing and changing world. Reengineering should not just be about automating processes that already exist in the organization but also how to create new processes. Business Processes Havey (2005) defines a business process as "step-by-step rules specific to the resolution of a business problem." While Hammer and Champy (1993) define a business process as "a Included Materials. Describes the six steps included in most reengineering initiatives: selecting the processes for reengineering; identifying change enablers; developing a business vision of process objectives; understanding and measuring existing processes; designing and prototyping the new processes; and implementing the new processes.
