For almost 100 years the Pittsburgh region has been a metacenter of jazz originality that is second to no other in the history of jazz. One of the best kept secrets in jazz folklore, the Pittsburgh Jazz Legacy has heretofore remained mythical. We have dubbed it “the greatest story never told” since it has not been represented in writing before now in such a way as to be accessible to anyone seeking to know more about it. When it was happening, little did we know how priceless the memories would become when the times were gone.
Today jazz is still king in Pittsburgh, with events, performances and activities happening all the time. The Pittsburgh Jazz Network is dedicated to celebrating and showcasing the places, artists and fans that carry on the legacy of Pittsburgh's jazz heritage.

In order to come up with an effective teaching approach, three major components of teaching have been identified namely:- 1. Preparation - Here the teacher plans the lessons he/she intends to teach including all the activities needed to put the lesson together. 2. Effective Instructional Strategies Chapter 7: Using Teaching Methods Chapter Seven Objectives After completing chapter 7, students should be able to do the following: 1. Discuss factors that should be considered in selecting teaching techniques and strategies. 2. Define exposition teaching and discuss the strengths and Effective teaching is situational in that it is a result of the synergy between: (1) the knowledge, skills, and methods the teacher possesses; (2) the attributes of the students; and (3) the environment in which the teacher-students interactions take place. The effective teacher knows how to blend these three entities in order to increase Teaching methods are often divided into two broad categories: teacher-centred meth- ods (also called direct instruction) and learner-centred methods (also called indirect instruction or inquiry-based learning). Objectives of the Study were conducted methods and teaching strategies used by the PSU - CTE faculty members of Bayambang Campus, Bayambang, Pangasinan during the first semester of the school year 2013-2014.
