For almost 100 years the Pittsburgh region has been a metacenter of jazz originality that is second to no other in the history of jazz. One of the best kept secrets in jazz folklore, the Pittsburgh Jazz Legacy has heretofore remained mythical. We have dubbed it “the greatest story never told” since it has not been represented in writing before now in such a way as to be accessible to anyone seeking to know more about it. When it was happening, little did we know how priceless the memories would become when the times were gone.
Today jazz is still king in Pittsburgh, with events, performances and activities happening all the time. The Pittsburgh Jazz Network is dedicated to celebrating and showcasing the places, artists and fans that carry on the legacy of Pittsburgh's jazz heritage.

Prep time 30 minutes. ½ cup seasoned bread crumbs Add ingredients to shopping list Directions Step 1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat a 7x11-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Step 2 Pound chicken breasts to 1/4 inch thickness. Step 3 Sprinkle each piece of chicken on both sides with salt and pepper. Instructions Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Pour the marinara in the bottom of a 9 X 13 inch baking dish. Place a large pot of salted water over high heat and bring to a boil. Once the water is boiling, drop the pasta shells into the water and cook for 6-7 minutes, until almost cooked through. Drain the pasta. Instructions Preheat oven to 425F. Prepare a paper plate with the breadcrumbs and a bowl with both eggs beaten. Set aside. Spray a baking dish with non-stick cooking spray and also set aside. Lay out chicken cutlets on a flat surface on waxed paper. season both sides with salt and pepper. Instructions. Preheat the oven to 175C Bake. Prepare a baking dish, approx 25 x 30cm, with cooking spray or oil to lightly grease and set aside. In a frying pan, add the oil and bring to a medium heat. Add the garlic and heat for one minute until lightly golden. Add the spinach and gently cook until it has wilted down. Step 1 Heat the oven to 400°F. While the oven is heating, heat the butter in a 3-quart saucepan over medium-high heat. Add the onion and celery and cook until tender-crisp. Add the broth and heat to a boil. Remove the saucepan from the heat. Add the stuffing and mix lightly. Step 2 Spoon the stuffing into a 13x9x2-inch baking dish. Preheat oven to 425F. Spray a sheet pan with oil. Place broccoli in the microwave with 1 tablespoon water, cover and cook 1 minute until soft. Drain and season with 1/4 teaspoon salt. In a small bowl, combine egg, water and a little salt and beat with a fork; set aside. Fill a second bowl with breadcrumbs. Instructions. Preheat oven to 425°F. Grease a 9x13 baking dish and set aside. Prepare stuffing according to directions and cool completely. Lay each chicken thigh on a cutting board and place stuffing in the center (approximately 2-3 tablespoons depending on the size of the chicken thighs).
