Does anybody else get the feeling that our jazz network is being plotted by some international blog writing esapade? If you are unsure, just check out the latest blog by "Julia" who looks strangely more like "Joey." Then read over the last month's blogs and you'll know what I mean.
Hey, if people want to try and make some money writing, why not offer jazz Bio's, which I can certainly help with, as I've been a professional freelance writer for over a decade in Pittsburgh; currently, I teach writing at community college.
But that's not why I posted this blog -it was more to uncover the weird term paper thread that is woven throughout our current message board. If anyone knows more about it, I'd be curious to be in on the gag.
And if in fact you would like help with any writing relating to your jazz efforts, I would be happy to help, at a very low rate. I'm not offering this as my bread-and-butter, but more because I LOVE our city and its musicians (and writing) and if I can be of assistance to you in this area, that'd be my bonus! Just ask Ms. B (Barbara Ray---our member).
