I screwed up the date and time for Feb 20 Sweetwater Center for the Arts Friday Jazz Series. The Boilermakers perform Friday Feb. 20 from 6 - 8 pm.

No, I didn't record with that band, I only did a concert with them and they played my big band charts. It was a real thrill for me to sing with them and also conduct the band myself during my section of the show. I personally have a recording of that night. Jack Bogut from WJAS was the host that night. I've opened for the Four Freshmen a few times who have performed with the Kenton Band many times. Now that's a great combination!

Loved you pictures of Count Basie and Buddy rich. I met both of them years ago and I had the pleasure of singing with the Stan Kenton Alumi band a few years back too.
