One afternoon, two white dudes where sitting at the River.
From the younger of the two you could feel the anger.
Off from that cold marble bench, it poured like a thick green stench .
The older man turned and asked ‘what is weighing on such a young mans chest.” Through resentment and stammers the fury was hatched, thus the youth explaining it the way he knew best.

Folks ...I have am involved in print, broadcast and new media so I think I know a little bit. My radio involvement spans over 30 years. It does't make any difference where I have worked. I know the industry and how things work.
I have never been a favorite of the so-called Black media mainstream in case some of you really want to know or the White media either.
For a few months now people have been asking me what the solution should be in replacing WAMO as a so-called Black… Continue

The music business can definitely be a bitter place.
It can be so bitter that even a family member can steal, lie, and cheat you out of a gig.
Why is it that we have to cut people up and belittle them?
Why is it that when you finally get a gig folks want to cut into your program or cut you out?
Be happy and be proud when somebody gets a gig.
When you see a friend or somebody you might know who posts that he or she is… Continue

I received a response to an email i sent to someone that I regarded as a friend. i received an answer, but this person was very rude and condescending to me and i was quite upset. i know we all do things like that when there are other things happen in in our lives that may put us in a bad mood . I have been guilty of taking it out on someone. But I try not to do this. We are all in this for a common cause and iif someone wanted my help, I would help!! Not that I am a die-hard Oprah fan, but I did see a show where they talked about doing things for people less fortunate and that it lowered people's blood pressure and was good karma. So, in lieu of complaining which didn't do anything but give =me a b ad rep for...complaining....I decided to use my talents for the good of others, as well as my usual gigs and recording. I am going on the "Senior Citizen, Mentally Challenged Circuit. I will be performing every other Wednesday at a school for… Continue

This is your old high school buddy Raffie Sessa. I was at the "74" reunion last night and we were talking about you and Vince Colaiuta. I'm so glad that you guys have done so well at what you love to do.
I haven't played the trumpet much over the years, but have always loved the music, all of it; especially jazz.
I'd love to hear from you; hope all's well.
