Hi Kevin, thank you for the panel discussion offer on your music and radio seminar. I am flattered but, I get nervous in front of a microphone and studder a lot and I wouldn't want to be misinterpreted.

Pittsburgh Connection
Born and raised in Pittsburgh. Graduated from Peabody High School and attended University of Pittsburgh and Point Park College.
Favorite Pittsburgh musicians/performers
There are so, so many past and present. It would be unfair to name just a couple.
Favorite Jazz Radio or media station
Come on now...are ya'll serious? I'm a radio guy. Whose show do you think I like? :)
Favorite Pittsburgh Jazz Venue
That's an interesting phrase, "favorite". I really don't have a favorite place right now. I had about four or five places when I was single that I liked to go to.
I would love to operate my own spot if given the opportunity. If someone gives me or provides the capital, I can put a team together and I'll show folks how to manage a sucessful Jazz venue here. It's hard but it CAN be done.
The right people NEVER get those opportunities. It's too much like doing the right thing.

Walt and Buzzy are my heroes.
