For almost 100 years the Pittsburgh region has been a metacenter of jazz originality that is second to no other in the history of jazz. One of the best kept secrets in jazz folklore, the Pittsburgh Jazz Legacy has heretofore remained mythical. We have dubbed it “the greatest story never told” since it has not been represented in writing before now in such a way as to be accessible to anyone seeking to know more about it. When it was happening, little did we know how priceless the memories would become when the times were gone.
Today jazz is still king in Pittsburgh, with events, performances and activities happening all the time. The Pittsburgh Jazz Network is dedicated to celebrating and showcasing the places, artists and fans that carry on the legacy of Pittsburgh's jazz heritage.

Coming to Pittsburgh following their spiritual journey in Sudan, Africa, Reach Records Bookings presents The UNASHAMED TOUR 2010 “The Movement”. This concert will feature the biggest names in Christian Hip Hop, Lecrae, Trip Lee, Sho Baraka, Tedashi, DJ Official and Pro.
This American based Christian hip hop record label located to Atlanta, GA in association with Blueprint Church will bring an unforgettable night of worship, faith music, discipleship and fellowship in a Holy Hip Hop way!
The DAY OF DISCIPLESHIP will feature Pittsburgh's own Red Letter Hymnal from Christ Church at Grove Farms. They have been blessed to see their ministry grow from one service to two services in just over a year. Red Letter Hymnal will be releasing their first album to be available in Winter of 2010. '
House of Manna MEDIA's goal is uplift the Word of God through non-traditional ministry models using media.
According to Eugene J. Blackwell, organizing Pastor “We want this event to be a tool and an opportunity to introduce someone to the authority of Jesus Christ to show the benefits and advantages of being a positive contributor to the city and the global Christian community.
This concert will help bridge the gap between Biblical truth and the Urban/Suburban context.
The concert is expected to attract a diverse audience throughout the city of Pittsburgh and the tri‐state region.
Tickets to attend the concert are $20 in advance and $30 at the door (Group rates are available). There are also vendor opportunities available for outreach ministries and Christian businesses.
