On May 1, Joe Harris will share his stories and experiences, his archive of pictures and memorabilia with jazz fans and musicians, and demonstrate the technique that made jazz history.

Dear IAJE Family,
It is with a great sense of loss that I inform you that despite drastic efforts to cut expenses and raise emergency funds, the IAJE Board has voted to file for bankruptcy under Chapter 7 of the Federal Bankruptcy Law. I want to thank profusely those who responded with their generous donations and offers of assistance following my last communication. While over 250 individuals contributed just over $12,000, this, along with the many other efforts and contributions of…

Yah I know...I'm hopelessly out of date. I STILL think "album" sounds cooler than "CD".
Anyway....we're in the later stages of doing a recording that's been in the planning stages since the summer of 06. In Jan. 07 I did some things at Stark Lake Recording in Orlando, Florida. The people involved in that session included Richard Drexler on bass, John Jenkins, drums, Jeff Rupert, tenor, and John Allred on trombone. (is Allred the finest player today? I sure couldn't argue the point.)…

On Thisis50.com, fans can create profiles and friend lists just like on MySpace, but 50 Cent has direct access to the site's users and their e-mail addresses.
