Pain Relief Beyond Belief
As I sit here in the early hours of the morning I still can't get over the passing of my close friend and bandmate Richard "Dick" Vitalie. Yes folks I am a musician as well but I don't sit in as a vocalist or percussionist with folks here for many reasons. Lack of talent is definately not one of them. His going home service is today.

It felt like the earth stood still... (if only for a few seconds), when I found out Gene Ludwig passed away. I have performed with him on many occasions, starting way back when. One of my most memorable gigs was with Gene, Jimmy Ponder and Hank Crawford.
I had just spoken to Gene on the phone month or so ago. We talked about getting together again (I live in Columbus OH) ... didn't know that would be the last time I we said good bye to each other.... man will he be missed.

Losing people we love is hard, no matter how you look at it.
