Artie and I went out to the new club, Melange, on 6th street downtown to listen to some music. We found out about the gig from Roger Humphries' website. Put your gigs on every website you can, you never know when I am coming out!
I am gonna tell you all what...no drummer plays like Roger. He's the only one I know that can give you goosebumps listening to a drum solo!
It's amazing, and the rest of the band was great, too! We had a good time, and the music lifted my spirit…

How is Jazz surviving? If one were to look at the recent closures of Jazz Festivals across the country, you would think that jazz fans would…

Hey Pittsburgh Jazz Network. I uploaded a new mix last week. It's summer-themed and it's called The Kool-Aid Mix Vol. 1. Here goes more info:
For the most part this mix is kind of mellow/mid-tempo … definitely appropriate for the early hours of the cook out, or for when you’re chilling out and trying to enjoy the summer months. I had a lot of left over tracks and there’s lots of other tracks that I started coming up on once the mix was completed (some more obvious than others), so…
